This week, Russian nationals were notified via email that they have until October 27th to withdraw their custodial funds and rewards from Blockchain.com, after which their accounts will be blocked.
Their reward accruals have already been blocked, without a heads up.
Crypto.com users received a similar email dated October 14th, but may not be able to withdraw their funds.
As per both emails, the companies explained that the restrictions are a result of government sanctions recently issued by the European Union.
A number of other blockchain companies, including Dapper Labs, also blocked accounts tied to Russia earlier this month.
